Its 2010 and Everest Dog is busy training ourselves so that we can bring great lifestyles to you.

On the schedule for Gary Guller is The Marathon Des Sables this Spring while Jt Clough plans to run a half marathon in February as well as writing 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon programs to train your and your dog. We’ll bring you updates on the blog of our training, as well as ideas you can put on your schedule for your own inspirational adventure.

We found ourselves running on the Rio Grande Trail in Taos, NM today. The dogs, a Weimaraner and a Yellow Lab, always give inspiration with the enthusiasm they show even at the end of a 90 minute run in 20 degree weather.

Dogs as training parters are the best.

Surf Dog A Thon benefiting Helen Woodward Animal Center. The 4th annual “Surf Dog A Thon” benefiting Helen Woodward Animal Center is set to go starting August 8th through September 13th. With 3 workshops before the big event on September 13th, this event is sure to provide the fun every San Diego dog owner wants to have with their dog.

Clinics will be held at Del Mar Dog Beach on August 8th, 16th and 22nd. Two 1-hour clinics at 9:00 am and 10:am $45 per dog with a 25 dog limit to each clinic.
San Diego is the place to get out and have some fun with your dog and the perfect reason to head on down and enjoy the beaches.

Omar, the Curly Coated Retriever is doing awesome! He’s in his second week at his San Diego Dog Training Camp and the wild puppy has become one that actually will come when called, even in the midst of sneaking off with your shoe.
That was one of Omar’s famous games. Steal something he wasn’t supposed to have and then run, enticing you to chase him which turns into a great game of “catch me if you can”. Omar is quick, can dodge and dash… and catching him was not an easy task.Now, not only will he come, but he’ll drop whatever it is he has in his mouth, and he’ll even add a really nice sit at the end of it all. Much better behavior for sure....
